Event Details
Achieving health equity is a significant challenge, particularly due to health literacy disparities, which are essential for informed health decisions. In areas with limited education, socioeconomic barriers, and inadequate healthcare, low health literacy leads to poor healthcare quality and increased susceptibility to counterfeit medicines, especially in low- and middle-income countries. Addressing this requires a multifaceted approach focused on improving health literacy, healthcare quality, and access to quality-assured medicines. This panel discussion will explore community engagement, education campaigns, and healthcare system strengthening to enhance health equity, fostering partnerships and collaboration.
