The NL Knowledge House Matchmaking Event between Dutch and Indonesian knowledge institutions will take place on the first day of WINNER (24 September 2024) as a platform for both nations to explore new possibilities to join forces and collaborate; be it in the curriculum development, student and faculty exchange programs, or innovative, sustainable initiatives that promote internationalisation in education. By creating a tailored connection based on a survey of the recent matchmaking in Indonesia and shared interests and objectives, the NL Knowledge House aims to encourage impactful initiatives that dive into academic excellence, research advancements, and cultural exchange.

Before the event, a comprehensive survey will be sent to participating institutions to gather insight into their needs and interests. This survey serves as the foundation for pre-matchmaking, enabling the NL Knowledge House to identify suitable partnership opportunities. The NL Knowledge House will also prepare an info session for the Indonesian knowledge institutions to better prepare them for internationalisation collaboration, ensuring both sides meet each other’s expectations. During the event, the representatives from Dutch and Indonesian knowledge institutions will be paired together, based on their complementary aspirations. These sessions will encourage open dialogue and the exploration of mutual benefits.
