WINNER 2023
“Enhancing Knowledge Connectivity of Research and Education between Indonesia and the Netherlands for Regional Impact”
This year’s theme encompasses a multitude of collaborations and questions, in fundamental and applied sciences, in natural, social, technical and health sciences and humanities, and between academics, businesses, NGOs and public organisations. It continues to emphasize the need for interdisciplinary approaches and multi-stakeholder engagement needed to address global challenges and achieve the SDGs. But how can we make the most of this collaboration to have a greater impact on society, especially when looking at challenges that affect not only our two countries? Our ultimate aim is to accelerate the understanding and connections between institutional, and people-to-people linkages, to promote inclusive, high-quality knowledge exchange for societal progress on both the (inter)national as well as the regional scale. This includes finding opportunities for upscaling of collaboration and knowledge exchange to enhance intra-regional connectivity in both countries, as well as beyond the country borders to the level of the EU and ASEAN, in which our bilateral cooperative projects and their results can serve as inspiration and example.
WINNER 2023 will again be organised as a hybrid conference in which attendees are able to participate in online sessions and be inspired by existing and future collaborations. With you, the practitioners, being at the heart of this collaboration, we invite you to organise part of the programme. Please fill out the session registration form and submit it to [email protected] by 15 June 2023 (the deadline for the proposal submission was originally 6 June 2023 and has been extended).
