BIOGRAPHY
Sikko Visscher (KITLV and KNAW) is part of the pilot programme “Governance of Climate change adaptation” at KITLV and is Programme Manager of the Scientific Programme Indonesia. He is an historian and social scientist who did a PhD on Singapore and a post-doc on Penang.

- ALMI and DJA, the academies of young scientists of Indonesia and The Netherlands, are serious about the climate change crisis. What can they do now and for the future. Both emphasize the urgency of public communication and education with a positive tone. Two representatives from practitioner NGO’s will react to their presentations.
