14.00 - 15.15 GMT+7 / 09.00 - 10.15 GMT+2

This round table goes beyond the usual and predictable reflections on water and climate challenges, by bringing religion and culture into a discussion often dominated by technocratic solutions. The table focusses by presentions and conversations on the following dimensions:

  1. Role of religious & cultural principles and values in governance of water and climate challenges
  2. Role of religious leaders in tackling water and climate challenges
  3. Role of mosques and churches in greening society in Indonesia and the Netherlands

Finally, we will explore how to stimulate cooperation between religion, government, business and academia on shared issues related to water and climate change.
