BIOGRAPHY
Prof. Rizal Sebastian is Professor of Future Urban Systems at The Hague University of Applied Sciences, Visiting Professor at London South Bank University, and Senior Advisor on Digitalisation at The Netherlands Enterprise Agency RVO. He graduated with a BSc in Architecture from Institut Teknologi Bandung (Indonesia), an MSc in Construction Management from London South Bank University (UK) in conjunction with HAN University (NL), and a PhD in Design Management from Delft University of Technology (NL). Prior to his academic career, he worked at an international engineering firm ARCADIS and the Dutch research institute TNO. In the last 24 years, he has led numerous innovation projects on digital technologies for smart cities and sustainable built environment.
