BIOGRAPHY
Martin Drenth is a PhD Researcher at the Department of Planning and Environment, Faculty of Spatial Sciences, University of Groningen. In his PhD research, he studies the governance and institutional design that can help Indonesian cities become more sensitive cities, inclusive, and climate-resilient. This research also aims to uncover the socio-political relations that affect urban water systems. His primary case study is the Bandung Metropolitan Area. Martin spent much of his professional life in Indonesia (2013-2020). As a researcher, he was affiliated with the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB).
