BIOGRAPHY

Prof. Dr. Loes Witteveen leads the research group Communication, Participation and Social Ecological Learning (CoPSEL) at Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences and works with the Knowledge, Technology, and Innovation (KTI) group, Wageningen University, the Netherlands. Her work is situated at environmental and social science interfaces, sustainable water management and rural livelihoods. Current research relates to strategies for social change, participatory and deliberative governance and visual research methodologies. Collaborative research focuses on transdisciplinary themes as mediated participation, social imaginaries visual problem appraisal, digital farmer field school and (virtual) living labs and inclusion and affordance in user centered design.
