BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Juliëtte Severin is a clinical microbiologist and medical coordinator of the Unit Infection Prevention of the Erasmus MC in Rotterdam. In 2009, she obtained her PhD degree with the thesis entitled “Antimicrobial Resistance in Indonesia: Prevalence, determinants and genetic basis”. The main focus of her current research work is AMR and infection prevention and control, both in developed and low-to-middle income countries. She is currently co-supervising 2 PhD students in Dutch-Indonesian collaborative projects, and coordinates the Fleming Fellowships Program in Indonesia, which has a strong One Health approach.
