Prof dr. Jaap Wagenaar is a veterinarian and the chair of the Clinical Infectious Diseases at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Utrecht University. His research group focusses on AMR in animals and the animal-human interface. He holds positions in international advisory groups and he acts frequently as expert for WHO, FAO, and OIE. He is involved in several (research) projects in Indonesia.
