Ioana Bratu is a researcher and lecturer at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Her field of research covered numerous areas namely Space Law, AI Governance, and Outer Space Technologies. She is now a member at the Supervisory Board VU StartHub and Board of Amsterdam Law & Technology Institute. She is  the founder of AI ∞ SpaceLaw Society and Expert on the Global Expert Group on Sustainable Lunar Activities. She acts as a mentor on the UNOOSA Program, Space4 Woman and Space Generation Advisory Council. Ioana is also the Co-Coordinator and Legal Expert on the CYBER Project that is developed in collaboration with Universitas Indonesia with grant awarded by NUFFIC.
