BIOGRAPHY
M Ilham Saenong is Program Development Manager Civic Rights in Digital Age Yayasan Humanis dan Inovasi Sosial (Hivos Foundation). He received the Sasakawa Foundation scholarship to complete master degree in Anthropology from Universitas Indonesia in 2003. For 15 years he has been working with networks of civil society and government champions in promoting public integrity, open government and SDGs through advocacy, public campaign and citizen engagement, particularly using ICT, pop culture, social accountability mechanism and advocacy research. He was a civil society coordinator of the Open Government Partnership and the anti-corruption coalitions in Indonesia, was a project leader for award winning movies, such as Sebelum Pagi Terulang Kembali and Kita versus Korupsi. He leads the urban agenda in the Yayasan and is currently part of the Resilient Indonesian Slums Envisioned (RISE) team in building an inclusive governance with people and water to make social-ecological interactions more resilient to water-related disasters
