BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Rico Ihle (Wageningen University, Netherlands) is associate professor at the Agricultural Economics and Rural Policy Group of Wageningen University. He holds a PhD in agricultural economics and policy analysis from Göttingen University. His research – which has been published in almost 40 scientific articles in leading international journals – is centered around SDG2 “zero hunger” including the analysis of food markets and policies, economic aspects of food system resilience and sustainability transformations. Indonesia’s food system is one of his research interests. He has carried out research for the European Parliament, the EU’s Joint Research Center as well as Dutch governmental institutions.
