BIOGRAPHY
Moretta Damayanti Fauzi is a pediatrician subspecialist in nutrition and metabolic diseases, working as an employee of the Ministry of Health at Mohammad Hoesin Hospital and a lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine of Sriwijaya University in Palembang, South Sumatera, Indonesia. Since 2020, she has been actively involved as a facilitator in the training of acute malnutrition and integrated management of childhood illnesses for health workers in Indonesia. Recently, she has been taking her Ph.D. at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam focusing on the research project Solutions to Improve Health with Alternative Treatments (SEHAT): double-blind randomised controlled trial in Indonesia for gut microbiota-targeted treatment of severe acute malnutrition using rice bran in ready-to-use therapeutic foods.
