Bondan Kanumoyoso is the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities at the Universitas Indonesia. He carried out his doctoral research at Leiden University and has extensively studied Indonesia’s architectural and social history, primarily focusing on Jakarta and its surroundings. His areas of specialization are Indonesian history during the VOC and colonial periods, and he has a lot of experience working in Dutch and Indonesian archives.
