BIOGRAPHY
Bagus Takwin is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Indonesia. His research focuses on self and identity, philosophy of psychology, social justice, well-being and positive institutions. He has been involved in many research projects dealing with socio-psychological phenomena, including inequality perceptions in 34 provinces in Indonesia, index of democracy measurement and subjective well-being based on democracy. On the side, he has published 13 books, among them a personality analysis of former president Soeharto and politician Fuad Hassan. In 2013, he was appointed as a research coordinator in a research centre of Terrorism and Social Conflict, Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Indonesia.
