Collaboration in Green Education Between Indonesia and The Netherlands: Lesson Learned and New Opportunities
This talk show aims to be a constructive dialogue by representatives of the agri-food supply chain highlighting the results achieved so far and the opportunities to continue the Indonesian-Dutch cooperation in Agriculture.
The Netherlands is a global leader in agricultural research and education. At the same time, Indonesia is a fast-growing economy, with substantial potential for growth in the agricultural sector. Starting from 2016, Indonesia and the Netherlands work together to improve vocational education in Indonesia, in particular in agriculture. Education is the basis in preparing people for the job market, this is especially true for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). Therefore, the emphasis will be placed on strengthening partnerships between vocational schools and the industry.
