Engelie Beenen is Chairman and Partner of HollandDoor Cooperative and managing several ‘capacity building’ programs for educational institutes and private sector in Asia and the Middle East. Engelie is experienced in strengthening the position of farmers through cultivation knowledge, linking farmers to markets, value chain development and sustainability. Under the Orange Knowledge Programme, Engelie is currently involved as a representative of Has University and related consortium of Applied Universities and vocational institutes in the Agro-Food domain. With Indonesian partners they are developing an upscaling strategy to support the revitalisation of vocational schools (SMKs) in Indonesia.
