Indonesia is now one of the main destinations for the banana distribution network. Previous research related to the use of banana barks has opened up opportunities and potential for the development of functional product designs, which in turn facilitates the downstream process of multidisciplinary collaborative research. This research focuses on examining the zero-waste concept in utilizing banana barks into functional products through Product Design approach. The outputs of this research consist of documenting the process of making and creating craft products, also the assessment of zero-waste concept in post-harvest training activities for local villagers.
