Asia Water Challenge is an innovation competition that inspires young talents in Indonesia to contribute to critical real-life water challenges in their country. It was started and part of the broader Holland Water Challenge program, that has been running in several countries since 2010. The competition and its related activities serve as a “platform” to educate and provide learning mechanism for young generations to the real professional working world. It also supports the business development objectives of the businesses in water sectors in international market setup and connecting businesses with the great young Indonesian talents in water sector and relevant field. Since it is started, there are more than 40 companies and institutions from the Dutch water sector, 30 top universities, and 300 students have participated.
