Dr. Eng. Yunus Daud, Dipl. Geotherm.Tech., MSc – Universitas Indonesia

Dr. Yunus Daud is  a geothermal academician and expert in Indonesia. He has more than 20 years’ experience in geothermal exploration, resource assessment and research in development of geoscientific technology and software. He is an owner of 7 patents in Geoscientific Software Development. His foundation expertise in geothermal technology was built in Professional Geothermal Diploma Course in Geothermal Institute of the University of Auckland, New Zealand. Then he completed PhD degree in Geothermal Research Center of the Kyushu University, Japan. He is also an expert member of Directorate Geothermal of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. He is a founder of PT NewQuest Geotechnology and providing a consultant in geothermal exploration & development for geothermal industries. He is now the head of the Geothermal Research Center at Universitas Indonesia.
