She is the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Technology, Innovation & Society of The Hague University of applied sciences in The Netherlands. In addition, she is program director of the bachelor Process & Food Technology and the master Next Level Engineering. She has a background in Educational Sciences and
Health & Nutritional Sciences. Her research field focuses on innovative education to stimulate student talent development and create an appreciative working climate where teachers experience to be effective from a broad perspective. Her area of expertise is a/o challenge-based curriculum design, team development, community learning in an international context, transdisciplinary learning, and impactful education.
