BIOGRAPHY
Tery Setiawan specialises in social identity and wellbeing from psychological and sociological perspectives. In the RISE project, he specifically looks at relational wellbeing and its relation to people’s emotional ties to their neighbourhood, resilience and most importantly, their intention to promote environmentally responsible behaviours in disaster prone communities. His past works include investigating the application of social identity model of collective action to support for interreligious conflicts in Indonesia, analysing psychometric properties of place attachment in disaster prone communities, and scrutinising a dual-pathway role of relational wellbeing on individual resilience.
