BIOGRAPHY
Samuel Tefera Alemu (Ph.D.) is an Assistant Professor at the Center for African and Asian Studies, College of Social Sciences in Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia. Samuel is Asian Desk coordinator at the Center and facilitates seminars on Africa-Asia affairs.
He was Policy Advisor to the Minister, Ministry of Peace of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. Samuel engages the public on print and broadcast media platforms through his contributions on regional economic integration, security and hydropower infrastructure development. He received his Ph.D degree in Area Studies from the Graduate School of Asian and African Area Stduies at Kyoto University in Japan.
