BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Rahajeng Tunjungputri (Ajeng) received her PhD from Radboud University in 2017. Her PhD studies at the Department of Internal Medicine, Radboud university medical center, were focused on platelet function and its role in several tropical and infectious diseases such as dengue, leptospirosis, HIV and bacterial pneumonia. She had previously obtained her MD from Diponegoro University in 2009 and received a teaching position at the same university before advancing her studies.

She is currently an internist-in-training at the Faculty of Medicine Universitas Indonesia, Cipto Mangunkusumo National General Hospital and is continuing her research work in clinical infectious diseases. Her aim is to continue developing and performing impactful research for better patient care and health policies in Indonesia.
