Suria Tarigan has a Master Degree from ITC, The Netherlands and a Doctor degree in agriculture from Bonn University, Germany. He is a professor at the Department of Soil Sciences and Land Resources Management, IPB University.  He is a research fellow in Center for Transdisciplinary dan Sustainability, IPB University.
