Prof Tuti is a full-time lecturer and Professor of Communication Science at Hasanuddin University that expertise in family and interpersonal communication. She also serves as the Chair of the Media and Communication Thematic Research Group at Hasanuddin University. Prof Tuti is actively engaged in research in the fields of media communication, intercultural communication, media studies, and the preservation of local wisdom.
In addition, She is widely recognized as a driving force in advancing literacy in Indonesia through various educational programs, collaborative research, and community empowerment initiatives. Other experiences include being involved as a consultant for CSR programs, community development, and the environment, including for PT Pertamina (Sulawesi, Papua, Maluku).
