Prof dr. Kuntaman is a professor in clinical microbiology and heads the Department of Clinical Microbiology at the Faculty of Medicine in the Airlangga University in Surabaya. He was one of the supervisors of the AMRIN project, and remained active in the field of AMR. He is the chair of the Indonesian Society for Clinical Microbiologists. He was actively involved in the national surveys on AMR in 2016 and 2017. He is a member of the National Committee on Antimicrobial Resistance Control and Prevention, Ministry of Health, Indonesia.
