BIOGRAPHY
Ibu Isti Hidayati currently works as lecturer in Urban and Regional Study Program, Department of Architecture and Planning, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Indonesia. In 2008, she graduated from Urban and Regional Planning Program UGM and later in 2014 she held a master degree in Infrastructure Planning from Universität Stuttgart, Germany.
•In 2020, she completed her doctoral degree from Faculty of Spatial Sciences, University of Groningen, the Netherlands. Her dissertation highlights mobility inequalities in Southeast Asia, focusing on the socio-spatial constructs behind them. Her research interest revolves around urban mobilities and accessibility and their relationship with the built environment.
•She is also interested in developing socio-spatial approaches combining spatial analysis and ethnographic methods to better understand urban mobilities and accessibility in cities.
