BIOGRAPHY
Md. Iftakharul Alam is a top fisheries department official in Bangladesh, as well as a PhD student from Wageningen University and Research and the Khulna University of Bangladesh. His current work focusses on the topic of Silvi-Aquaculture. He has contributed to and led in several papers on mangrove and shrimp aquaculture aiming to optimise aquaculture and livelihoods in Bangladesh. Recent papers in are published in Aquaculture, (Alam et al. 2021) and , and Forests, (Debrot et al. 2020)
