Huub Nijs forensic physicians, with a focus on minors (children) at the Netherlands Forensic Institute. Interpreting injuries to minors for criminal law purposes is one of main tasks. In cooperation with the Veterinary Medicine Department of Utrecht University, He participate in education and forensic case assessment concerning animals. He also part of the expert panel of the national expertise centrum animal cruelty of the Netherlands. In this respect, He are involved in interpreting veterinary evidence in suspected physical animal abuse.
