Postdoc in the RISE project
BIOGRAPHY
Elizabeth MacAfee is currently studying social-ecological interactions in informal settlements in Indonesia as a postdoc in the RISE project. In this project she focuses on developing an interdisciplinary theoretical framework, in particular using assemblage theory, to study floods, water quality, and waste management in three cities in Indonesia. Her prior work has focused on drinking water quality governance and planning in Senegal and vulnerability to groundwater contamination in Zanzibar, Tanzania.
