BIOGRAPHY
Carolien has been working as an epidemiologist and head of the WHO Collaborating Centre for AMR Epidemiology and Surveillance at the Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) since 2020. She coordinates the contribution of RIVM to the Central Asian and European Surveillance of Antimicrobial Resistance (CAESAR) network and other international projects related to human AMR surveillance. Carolien is specialized in infectious disease epidemiology and human AMR surveillance.
