Event Details
SustainPalm is a programme with a focus on how to increase sustainability of palm oil production, by promoting the implementation of several solutions. Together, these solutions aim to not only to increase land use efficiency, but also to decrease greenhouse gas emissions, promote biodiversity and to create business opportunities, including for smallholders. In the SustainPalm Programme solutions are intensively monitored through research collaboration between Indonesia and the Netherlands, including student training, and it is now nearing its completion. In this session, representatives of all three work packages will show results, as well as a window toward the way forward to sustainable palm oil.
