Event Details
Developing teachers’ student-centred beliefs, identity, and mission regarding teaching and learning in problem-based learning curriculum is essential since these inner aspects are considered to influence teachers to perform student-centred teaching behaviour. This workshop invites teachers to collaborate and reflect on several significant moments of teachers that influenced them to hinder or change their beliefs, identity and mission to be more student-centred. This workshop helps teachers see the ideals of the inner aspects and realise their challenges and opportunities in developing their student-centred beliefs, identity, and mission. At the end of the workshop, the participants are expected to be more aware of their need to develop student-centred beliefs, identity, and mission and actualise them in their daily teaching practice.
