Event Details
This year the second edition of the interdisciplinary Future Challenges Lab minor will be held in Jakarta. This minor is part of the ongoing Indonesia–Netherlands Universities Consortium on Sustainable Futures (INUCoST), bringing together Dutch, international, and Indonesian bachelor students focussing on urgent global themes. Hosted at Universitas Indonesia’s Depok campus, the minor program introduces students to practical approaches such as co-creation and citizen science. In multidisciplinary and cross-cultural teams, students conduct independent research into how communities in Indonesia and across the Global South respond to major urban challenges. The program concludes with a policy-focused report, presented at a one-day student conference
