
About WINNER 2026
This year marks the 7th edition of WINNER – the Week of Indonesia–Netherlands Education and Research, taking place from 6–8 October 2026. The conference will be organised as a hybrid event, allowing participants to join sessions both on-site in Indonesia and the Netherlands, as well as online.
The main theme for WINNER 2026 is “Competitive and Resilient Societies: Human Capital, Innovation & Sustainability.” Sessions will explore how education, research, science, and technology contribute to resilient and sustainable societies, highlighting innovation, collaboration, and impact through interdisciplinary exchange.
The opening ceremony will be hosted by Kemdiktisaintek and the Netherlands Embassy, while thematic sessions on the second day will take place at a university in Jakarta. The closing ceremony will be held at the Indonesia House in Amsterdam, hosted by KBRI Den Haag. WINNER aims to foster dialogue between academia, policy, industry, and society, strengthening Indonesian–Dutch partnerships.
