BIOGRAPHY
Prof. Dr. Kemas Ridwan Kurniawan – is the Dean of the Department of Architecture at Universitas Indonesia. He teaches courses on Architectural Design, Theory, History, and Heritage. His research focuses on Indonesian architecture and urbanism, particularly socio-cultural and historical aspects of space, heritage, and sustainability. He co-authored the book Historic Urban Landscape (HUL) Quick Scan Method Handbook for Indonesian University Lectures (2021). He is a member of ICOMOS Indonesia, an architectural expert for Jakarta’s building permits, an assessor for the Indonesian Higher Education Accreditation Board, and a co-founder of the Cultural Landscape Community (KALBU).
