BIOGRAPHY

Tery Setiawan is a postdoc researcher at the Department of Cultural Anthropology and Developmental Studies at Radboud University and also a psychology lecturer at the Faculty of Psychology at Maranatha Christian University, Indonesia. Under the supervision of Edwin de Jonge (PI from the Netherlands) and Bagus Takwin (PI from Indonesia), Tery investigates relational well-being and social-ecological resilience among people living in slums and coordinates the interdisciplinary work-packages involved in the project entitled “Resilient Indonesian Slums Envisioned (RISE)”. This project is funded by NWO-BRIN/Kemendikbud Ristek. His research interest is in social conflicts seen from the perspective of social identity and the structure of social relations among people involved with the help of social network analysis. He has published his work in Archive for the Psychology of Religion, Asian Journal of Social Psychology, Journal of Pacific Rim Psychology, a monograph book, and book chapters.
