BIOGRAPHY

Vita Meylani was born on 27 May 1990 in Pangandaran. In 2011, the author graduated with (Bachelor’s) from the Department of Biology Education at FKIP Siliwangi University. Then he continued his studies (Master’s) in Microbiology Interests at Gadjah Mada University’s Faculty of Biology. In 2021, he will enrol in the PhD program at the Graduate School of Science and Engineering, University of Groningen, the Netherlands. Currently, the author is a permanent instructor at the Department of Biology Education, FKIP Siliwangi University, and the Director of the LP2M PMP Research Center at Siliwangi University. Additionally, the author is engaged in research and community service, particularly in the domains of Microbiology and Biology Education, and publishes his findings in national and international journals. Recent works include Differentiated sap (4–6) gene expression of Candida albicans isolates from HIV-positive patients with oral candidiasis and commensals in healthy people (2021). Analysis of South Sumatra Swamp Microalgal Isolates as Biofuel Candidates (2021). The Effectiveness of Inorganic Fertilizer and Bio-Fertilizer Application on the Development and Production of Red Chili (2022). Effect of Essential Oil of Syzygium aromaticum L. Against the Fungal Pathogens of Capsicum annuum L. (2022). In addition, the author participates in national and international scientific activities. Additionally, the author is involved in the development of Student Affairs at the University of Siliwangi. The author wishes to continue working and contributing to the growth of science in Indonesia.
