BIOGRAPHY

Noor Hamidah’s name born in Kuala Kapuas on February 24, 1976. Completed Bachelor Degree in Architecture, UII Yogyakarta Graduated in 1999, continued Master program at Urban Planning and Management Department, ITC Faculty, University of Twente in 2002 with STUNED Fellowship Program funding, and continued Doctoral Program Doctorate in Regional Development Study Program, Faculty of Geography UGM with BPPDN DIKTI funding, graduated in 2018.

Since 2005, she has been active as Teaching Staff in the Department/Prodi of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering, University of Palangka Raya. Active in the Quality Assurance Unit of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Palangka Raya in 2019 until now. Teaches courses in Introduction to Housing and Settlements, Peat Swamp Settlements, Affordable Settlements, Social Housing, Archipelago Architecture, Traditional Dayak Architecture, as well as Design Principles courses. The author has also been active in conducting research in the field of settlements and regional development since 2005.

She has been active in writing since 2019 until now including books published entitled City Architecture, Urban Design, and Green Open Spaces in 2019, and Betang Typhomorphology of Central Kalimantan Settlements in 2020 Actively writing in national journals and international journals including the UMS Geography Forum Journal, UNY FSTP Inertia Journal, Bandung Islamic University MIMBAR Journal, UNDIP Tataloka Journal, and Journal of physics: Conference Science in 2019 until now.

Actively participated in the Short Course Program at the Department of Urban Planning, ITC Faculty University of Twente in 2011 and the Short Course at the Department of Land Administration, ITC Faculty University of Twente in 2016. Ever attended the Refresher Course program with the theme One Stop E-government Land Administration System, collaboration ITC Faculty University of Twente and Vietnam National University, in Vietnam in 2013 with funding from the Netherlands Fellowship Program (NUFFIC).

Summer course training at UPJ Jakarta in collaboration with Humbolt Funding with the theme of urban transportation in 2018. Actively conducting research activities at regional and national levels with a focus on riverbank area studies from 2005 to 2018 focusing on riverside settlements and green open spaces. Actively writing in several print media since 2012 until now.
