BIOGRAPHY
Fadly Haley Tanjung is an urban planner and currently serving as Young Expert Planner for Urban Parks, Forest and Environment at Regional Development Planning Board, Jakarta Capital City Government. He holds a master’s degree in urban and regional planning from Bandung Institute of Technology, which gave him a deep knowledge on sustainable cities.
Within his role, Haley’s responsibility included planning and developing recommendation policy, budget allocation, monitoring and evaluation related agencies on urban parks and environment in Jakarta. The output mainly gathers into the Jakarta Capital City Government Working Plan annually and as inputs to the Jakarta Spatial Plan. Haley’s expertise in city infrastructure system and climate issues, i.e. urban water management, sustainable environment and climate adaptation and looking for collaborative projects with related stakeholders.
Haley’s has been participate and contribute in several international activities regarding this matter, such as a fellow at International Metropolitan Fellowships, a mentor at Conference of Australian and Indonesian Youth (CAUSINDY) and also an active committee at Indonesia Association of Urban and Regional Planner (IAP) Jakarta Chapter as Head of Climate Change.
