Zebrafish (Danio rerio) is a small aquatic animal laboratory, easy to breed, with a similar immune system to humans. This research aimed to find an alternative animal laboratory for Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection. We infected the fish with SARS-CoV-2 virus (wildtype) via gills with virus concentration 9 x 102 pfu/mL – 18 x 102 pfu/mL. The real-time PCR test results showed positive for all virus inoculum concentrations. Using an immunohistochemistry test, viral infections were found in gills, liver, intestine, reproduction organ, muscle, and eyes. These results showed that Zebrafish is a potential alternative animal model for COVID-19 vaccine development.<br />
