BIOGRAPHY
Jasper Heslinga works on behalf of NHL Stenden University and the European Tourism Futures Institute (ETFI) as Program Manager for CELTH (Centre of Expertise Leisure Tourism and Hospitality) to facilitate collaborative research projects between universities, DMOs, governments, branch organizations and industry partners. Jasper obtained his PhD degree from the University of Groningen and as an expert on sustainable tourism he is involved in many tourism related research projects. Jasper has a special interest in Southeast Asia and is currently involved in a setting up a long-term research trajectory (living lab) in Lake Toba, Sumatra, Indonesia where he closely collaborates with Nuffic Neso Indonesia.
