Prof. Dr. J.I Rotmans is a professor of Internal Medicine and head of the subdepartment of Nephrology at Leiden University Medical Center. In addition, he is president-elect of the Vascular Access Society, chair of the thematic group focused on vascular tissue engineering at TERMIS, member of guideline committee of the DUcth Federation of Nephrology and members of the expert panel Medical devices en in vitro diagnostics van de European Medicines Agency (EMA).
