Carles Sitompul is an associate professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering at Parahyangan Catholic University (UNPAR), specializing in operations management, supply chain, and sustainability. He is currently the director of the Supply Chain Center at UNPAR. He has written two books on supply chain optimizations and contemporary logistics in the society 5.0. His work has appeared in the International Journal of Production Research, Computers and Industrial Engineering, Computers and Operations Research, and the International Journal of Technology.
