Kyana Dipananda

Kyana Dipananda is a PhD candidate at the Amsterdam Institute for Social Science Research (AISSR). She joined the Anthropology and Governance & Inclusive Development Department at the University of Amsterdam. She is involved in the Innovative Knowledge about Networks – Fish for Food (IKAN-F3) project. The project aims to study the fish food system that services low-income consumers in three selected rural regions in Indonesia, intending to improve their quality, resilience, and scope. In 2018, she obtained her master’s degree from Wageningen University and Research, specializing in Environmental Policy and Marine Governance. Dipananda’s research interest includes maritime anthropology, human geography, and food politics.
