BIOGRAPHY
Dr Atik Retnowati is currently the Acting Head of Herbarium Bogoriense, Botany Division, Research Center for Biology, Indonesian Institute of Science. Her research area is in fungal taxonomy, which focuses on discovering and documenting the diversity of Agaricales in Indonesia. She has joined several projects, which explored the fungi in Java, Bali and Kalimantan. She received a Bachelor degree from Brawijaya University, East Java (1991-1995), Master degree from San Francisco State University, CA, USA (1997-1999), and Doctoral degree from Universitas Indonesia, Jakarta (2008-2012). She is actively discovering and describing new species, new records and other information on the Indonesian Agaricales and published them in national and international scientific journals.
