Yulia is an urban planner and designer, specialist in sustainable urban development and design. She obtained Bachelor of Architecture from Tarumanagara University Jakarta and Master of Science in Urban Management and Development from Erasmus University Rotterdam. She has worked on urban development and design projects throughout South East Asia and Europe. In 2017, she was granted a mobility fund from European Commission for her work in creating sustainable urban mobility plan in Prishtina, Republic of Kosovo. She is also active to share her experience and expertise to young urban planners by giving guest lectures, two of them are in Tarumanagara University Jakarta, Indonesia and Thammasat Design School, Thailand. She has been active with IDN Liveable Cities since 2018 with her involvement in Water as Leverage project, funded by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency.
