Dr. Eng. Agus Haryono serves as Deputy for Engineering Sciences Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI). He was born in Pamekasan, 21February 1969. His Undergraduate education to Master and Doctoral degrees were all completed at the Department of Applied Chemistry at Waseda University, Japan from 1990 to 1999. His Postdoctoral degree was obtained at AIST (Advanced Industrial Science and Technology Agency) Tsukuba, Japan in 1999-2002 and Vienna University of Technology, Austria 2005-2006. Prior to becoming Deputy for Engineering Sciences LIPI, he was a Principal Researcher in the field of Macromolecular Chemistry. His hard work was rewarded with several awards both at national and international levels.
